Dear Members,

Following the decision of our General Assembly in June 2025, we are delighted to share some important updates regarding UEP membership fees starting January 2026.

From now on, membership payments will follow the calendar year: fees will be due in January each year for the full year.

Even more importantly, in a spirit of openness and solidarity, membership fees will now be adapted to the income level of the country of professional practice (according to the World Bank Atlas Method: https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/378832-what-is-the-world-bank-atlas-method).

 This new structure will allow us to be more inclusive and to support colleagues worldwide:

We believe this new model will make participation in UEP more equitable and accessible, while strengthening our shared mission: to promote phoniatrics across the globe.

UEP always prefer that European members pay using SEPA Core Direct Debit when possible to save the small commission costs paid by UEP to paypal. This small commission cost is around 3 euros per each membership fee and will be paid by UEP not by the member.
